Abacavir sulfate is a potent nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor agent commonly prescribed in the management of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. It exerts its action by competitively inhibiting the function of the viral reverse transcriptase enzyme, thereby hampering the conversion of HIV RNA to DNA. This blockade disrupts the p
